Located in the remote, rugged northern part of the island, and reached by way of Fraser St. northwest from Lanai City to the outskirts of town, then Polihua Rd., a dirt road, another 6 miles northwest­ward to the Garden of the Gods. This is one of the island’s foremost attractions where, in an eroded canyon of red soil, scores of boulders of various shapes, sizes and colors—in hues of red, blue and orange, espe­cially vibrant at sunset—lie scattered about, creating a lunar landscape of sorts. There are also good views of the ocean from here.
