Plage Municipale, Sainte-Anne’s city beach, is at the far end of the Club Med beach, and it lives up to its splendid reputation. There are dive shops, snack shacks, sports equipment kiosks, restrooms and a playground right on the palm-shaded white sand. This is a family beach with clear, shallow water and lots of noisy activity. The city charges a small fee for parking, which, while reasonable, adds up if you come here several times.
