With a private entrance off of Las Vegas Boulevard, the Four Seasons Hotel offers a tranquil oasis on the otherwise high-spirited Las Vegas Strip. Yet, this residential-style resort - the first AAA Five Diamond hotel in the city - sits minutes from diverse entertainment, world-class shopping and the wonders of the Mojave Desert. The traditional two-story structure houses an elegant porte-cochere, lobby and registration desk, meeting and function space, landscaped gardens with a private pool, spa, restaurants and lounges. The 400 plus deluxe guest rooms, including 86 suites, are located on the five floors (35 through 39) of the adjacent 43-story Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino tower. Rooms are accessed by three private express elevators, which go directly to the Four Seasons floors. The executive rooms and suites are nearly 1,000-square-feet, and most feature separate parlors and large executive desks. The one-, two- and three-bedroom suites offer elegant living rooms, two bathrooms, walk-in closets and spectacular views. Two Presidential Suites have dining rooms with seating for eight, a separate pantry and wet bar, media room, and a master bedroom with an executive study. Amenities include mini-bars, high-speed Internet access, coffee maker with complimentary coffee service, thick terry cloth bathrobes, complimentary daily newspaper and overnight shoeshine, and a nightly turndown service. Specialty services are de rigueur here, including overnight laundry and dry cleaning, one-hour pressing, complimentary children's amenities and services, and a 24-hour concierge desk - home to eight of Nevada's 21 members of Les Clef D'Or. Four Seasons perks include phone messages hand delivered to rooms, ice tea with cubes of frozen tea to keep the drink from becoming watered down. The expansive, tropical pool deck features an 8,000-square-foot pool, two whirlpools, chaise lounges with arbor covers for shade, cold towels, Evian misting, cucumber slices for the eyes and freshly sliced fruit (guests are also invited to visit Mandalay Bay's sand-and-surf beach and lazy river). The nearby Spa and Fitness facilities offer 16 treatment rooms with a range of massage and skin-care treatments, a relaxation room and a full range of cardiovascular and weight-training equipment. For your dining pleasure, the newly renovated Verandah offers a chic, contemporary setting for breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring American cuisine with contemporary Italian influences. The Four Seasons even has it own celebrity chef, Charlie Palmer, whose steak house has become legend.
