A lovingly-restored 1850's barn right off the town common in the heart of Bethel's historic district across from the Bethel Inn & 5 minute walk to NTL. L'Auberge is a spacious six room, family-run inn offering private baths and king-sized beds, air conditioning upon request and a full breakfast. Our intimate, casual restaurant is where you can enjoy our eclectic antique-filled dining rooms while savoring our delightful menu (see Dining). A thoughtfully chosen wine list and full bar, great service, and a stroll in our four acres of landscaped gardens or a seat in front of the roaring (real) fire with an after-dinner drink - make a perfect evening out, or in. "Awesome stay! Fantastic food & innkeepers who do it right! Thank you so much! We look forward to our next visit." K.O. -- Hosts: Sharon & Doron Haendel. A Full Service Bed and Breakfast Outstanding and Innovative Catering in the Lakes and Mountains of Maine. ...A feast for the eyes... ...........for the palette... ...........for the soul! Member of PAII (Professional Association of Independent Innkeepers), MIA (Maine Innkeepers Association) and Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce. Directions: Located on Mill Hill Road at the end of Main Street -- across from the town common and the Bethel Inn, next to the new fire station. Only five minutes to Sunday River and Mt. Abram and on the free Mountain Explorer Route. Walking distance to other establishments and NTL.
