There are three seafood restaurants along the beach that we feel offer the best value and food on the island. The most southerly is Friendship Number One and then comes Friendship Number Two and finally The Fisherman. It is hard to say which one is the best. If you ask a Thai his or her response will probably be based on a friend or relative who works at one of the trio rather than the food or service.
Since most visitors to the island eat dinner in or near their hotels these restaurants never really get crowded in the evening. At lunch time several of the tours stop here but we never had a problem finding a table. All three have wonderful views overlooking Phang Nga Bay and be sure and take a look at the tanks where they store the live fish and seafood.
