From the castle, continue on Corso Cavour as it turns into Corso Porta Borsari and Corso S. Anastasia until you reach St. Anastasia’s Church. Constructed by Dominican Friars between the 14th and 15th centuries, Verona’s largest church houses several important frescoes, including Pisanello’s San Giorgio e la Principessa and an important Gothic fresco by Altichiero (right).
