Founded by the Zeni brothers of Bardolino, the Cantina Zeni’s Wine Museum exhibits various tools used in wine production and depicts the process through many photos and exhibits. From the vineyard management systems to a 7th-century plow and 14th-century press, the wine museum at the Zeni winery offers a glimpse into the art and science of wine making and the techniques employed in Bardolino’s viniculture industry over the centuries.
Wine tastings are organized from June through Sept on Mon, Tue and Wed evenings; depending on the featured wines, tastings typically cost Euro 18 for 10 wines served with grissini (breadsticks) and cheese. Weather-permitting, tastings take place outdoors in the gazebo but, unfortunately, at publication time the winery only offered tastings in Italian and German. Tastings other times upon request only.
