Founded in 1890 by Dr. Leonildo Pieropan, the tradition of vine cultivation and wine making has been in the Pieropan family for three generations and today his grandson and his family carry on this practice, always employing innovative methods. The winery has developed extraordinarily over the decades and now produces nearly 350,000 bottles annually, many of which are exported to the USA, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Japan, Australia and Russia.
Their most characteristic wines include the Soave Classico, Calvarino and La Rocca. The winery is within Soave’s walls just a few steps from Piazza Antenna, but visitors should call ahead to arrange a tasting and tour. Aguided visit and a tasting Consisting of four wines is typically Euro 7, and English-speaking guides can be arranged on request.
