You can easily explore Orvieto’s hinterland on a bicycle. Natura e Avventura and Noleggio Testa Renato and Noleggio Star Bike all offer mountain bike rental and guided tours. You can also take part in the June Gran Fondo degli Etruschi (an Etruscan-themed excursion) and the occasional excursions offered by the Unione Ciclistica Orvietana, excursions from Sept to May), which depart from Orvieto’s Piazza del Duomo.
