At the Best Western János Atrium Hotel, doubles are € 100 (25,000 HUF) in low season and Euro 111 (27,750 HUF) in high season. A bargain, two-story townhouse suites are Euro 139 (34,750 HUF) in low season and i155 (38,750 HUF) in high season. Although it seems sparse on support services compared to some other hotels, don’t be fooled. Its wellness and beauty staff do everything they can to please and the huge underground pool, sauna, whirlpool, and gym room compensate for the lack of beachfront. The front desk is excellent in English. Internet in every room requires your own PC.

A rail line runs across the back of the hotel (infrequently), but it is about a football field away and the windows and walls are acoustically double-insulated. It’s hard to notice any train. Color TVs, SAT, minibar, phone, private bathroom/shower and good housekeeping make it comfortable. The restaurant and café are first class (see Places to Eat). And you are in easy walking distance from the beach.
