There are additional links on the site. Deak tér M2 metro to Batthyanyi ter. Take bus 86 to Kolosy ter, and then the 65 bus to Pálvölgyi Barlang stop. It stops across the street from the entrance trail (where there is also parking). There is a small buffet restaurant, restroom, tables, and picnic-like grounds around the entrance. Open April to Oct, Tue-Sat, 10 am to 6 pm. 1,500 HUF (costs vary depending on the type of tour). There are several levels of adventure. The rigor of the tour is your choice. If you choose the climbing tour you will be provided with a caving overalls and headlamp. The ticket office is next to the entrance, which you reach down a pathway to a small valley area. Alittle over a third of a mile, the moderate tour and the climbing tour are both far less rigorous than the Mátyás Cave adventure (see below). The hitch here is that the guides may be familiar with English, but it can be halting. The ticket window people speak perfect English however. As you enter, the moderate tour will lead you past various formations in well-lighted surroundings. Some parts of the tour require that you climb up ladders. Leaflets and brochures are available in English. The air of the cave is supposed to be therapeutic for respiratory disorders.
