Opera Dinner Cruise. The Operetta Ship, costs Euro 52 with dinner and Euro 35 with no dinner; children under five are free and ages five to 14 are charged a reduced rate. (I do not recommend that you take this cruise without the dinner. Standing and watching others eat ruins the enjoyment). Singers and dancers of the Hungarian State Opera House and the Hungarian Operetta Theater make for superb singing, both popular and operatic, accompanied by exciting dance routines, in period costume. The top-notch cuisine is based on famous Hungarian composers’ favorite dishes. Romantic night views of Budapest from the deck add to the enjoyment.
