After dining at the Vénhajó, you may want to walk to pier 7 for more evening fare, and take the Legend boat tour, The cost is 4,200 HUF, or 3,600 HUF for a daylight cruise. You watch Budapest turn on its nightly display of lighting on the historic buildings, with the reflection shimmering across the Danube. The tour is one hour. Suspended television screens show the kings and queens, poets and great leaders Hungary’s history, as well as the fasci-nating background of some of the buildings you can see lit up at night. Two drinks (soft drinks, beer or champagne) are offered during the cruise. Cruises leave from pier 7, right by the Vigado, the concert hall. See the website for all departure schedules.
