Pointe de la Verdure/Gosier. You can walk from one beach to another along this area lined with large resorts. At one end, near the Créole Beach Hotel, there’s no shade and sparse sand, but you can spread a towel on the grassy lawns around the beach. Vendors stroll about, but, for the most part, they aren’t aggressive and will move on if you’re not interestedin their wares. Farther down, near the Salako Hotel, you’ll find palm trees and more sand. Near the Arawak Hotel, the beach curves in a wide, shady arc protected on both ends by stone jetties. The beach area near the Callinago Hotel is small, but adequate, with fine sand and plenty of trees.
