Neuwerkkirche, a former chapter church, is a Romanesque basilica with parts dating from 1186. It has lovely octagonal Romanesque towers. The interior has well-preserved Late Romanesque wall paintings. Adjacent to the church is a Romanesque garden with 70 different types of plants. Opening hours are April to October, Monday to Friday, 10 am to noon and 2:30 to 4:30 pm; Saturday, 10 am to noon.
