The family-run Hôtel des Arts offers one of the best deals in this area. Its 26 rooms are small but functional, decorated in pastel colors and equipped with private bathroom (shower or bath) and direct-dial telephone. There’s an elevator, cozy lounge (with an aquarium), and a breakfast room that looks like a greenhouse with its jungle of plants. Triple rooms available from Euro 90. It’s centrally located, with quick access to Montmartre, Bastille, Palais Royal and the Opéra Garnier.
