Paris Walkabout offers private, personalized walking tours with officially licensed, multilingual tour guides of popular Paris neighborhoods such as the Tuileries, St-Michel, Montmartre, the Marais, and the covered passages. They also run museum tours and organize excursions to destinations outside Paris such as Chantilly and Giverny. The Dutch/Indonesian cultural trainer and tour coordinator Yita Hillyard has been living in Paris for the past 20 years. Her tours focus on helping visitors put everything they see into a historical context without overwhelming them with too many facts and figures. Guides also share their knowledge of French lifestyles and Parisian habits. The tour itineraries can be changed at any moment at the whim of the client. For groups of up to five people, three-hour tours are Euro 130, day-trips outside Paris cost Euro 250 and three-hour museum tours cost Euro 130. Prices are higher for larger groups, and transportation and entry fees are not included. Paris Walkabout also has their own native French wine expert offering wine tasting sessions from Euro 260 for two to four people (Euro 30 for each additional person).
