City Café has become a popular waterfront hangout right in the center of town (across from the fruit market). And for good reason. Locals say the bartenders make the best drinks on the island. Try them during happy hour from 5:30 to 6:30 every afternoon. A live band plays on most weekends, drawing a crowd that often pours out into the street, and patrons often stay until the place closes at 2 am. City Restaurant serves meals all day and offers a lengthy international menu with choices for every taste. Seafood or vegetarian lasagna are good choices for dinner; French bread sandwiches make a filling lunch. If you like to start the day with a big meal, consider the three-egg breakfast.
