Walk underwater without getting wet!” Ocean Park, is a fully interactive marine aquarium, where kids and their families can discover the spectacular underwater world of Barbados. Feeding demonstrations, a walk-through underwater tunnel, pools where children can touch and feed the fish, and 26 displays and exhibits that explain the undersea world provide a fascinating and interactive experience for kids of all ages. The park has a play area, “Shark Bites,” restaurant & bar, souvenir shop and Pirate Adventure mini golf. The Living Reef explores the diverse and exotic world of the coral reef and is home to a multitude of colorful reef fish including bonnethead sharks and the graceful, acrobatic cownose rays. The Touch Pool allows kids to pick-up various creatures. The Ocean Encounter display is a 100,000-gallon salt-water aquarium housing the parks three nurse sharks, blacktip reef sharks and barracudas. Don’t miss the “feeding frenzy” every day at 4 pm. The Freshwater Falls showcases fish and animals from the Amazon River and beyond. You can buy small amounts of food to feed the fish. Watch stingrays as they gracefully glide through the water.
