The Barbados Golf and Country Club and The Rockley Golf Club are both in Christ Church and open to the public. originally built in 1974, is graced with mature trees, two lakes and coral waste bunkers. Redesigned in 2000 by Ron Kirby, it is a challenging yet rewarding course, suitable for players of all levels. Sanctioned by the PGA European Tour, the 18-hole, 6,905-yard, par-72 course hosted a PGA Seniors Tournament and the Barbados Open in 2000 and 2001. It features a clubhouse, bar and restaurant, a pro shop, and electric trolley and pull cart rentals, shoe rentals, bag drop and lockers, a practice chipping and putting green, warm-up nets, private lessons, and tournament facilities. Green fees for 18 holes, $67.50; for nine holes, $40.50. Three-day unlimited golf pass, $167.50; seven-day unlimited golf pass, $350. Golf lessons, one hour, $25.
