Owner Clara Lesueur gave up her jazz-dance career in France to join the family restaurant business. Today, she’s famous for serving outstanding Créole cuisine in the waterfront restaurant that carries her name. Tops on the menu are lambi ragoût and fresh fish with a savory sauce. Guests may enjoy drinks at the octagonal bar before being served dinner on an outdoor deck outfitted with wicker tables and chairs. Clara herself often takes orders and visits with patrons; her English is excellent. Closed Wednesday and Sunday evenings.
