About Indian Chief Travel Guides

Who We Are

Indian Chief Travel Guides is the world's largest independent developer of destination-specific travel content, with a database that currently spans nearly 1,000 individual destinations around the world. We believe that the power to engage and inspire travelers lies squarely in the fundamental, destination-specific travel guide and that there is no substitute for it. After all, it's no secret that the need to find a destination precedes the need to book a flight or hotel. Need proof? Check this out, or this, or this.

Our Market

Whether you're an OTA, metasearch enterprise, travel planner, DMO, hotel chain, hostels booker, tour operator, cruise line, or practically anything or anyone associated with travel, leisure or hospitality in any manner, you can rest assured that good, clean, compelling travel content will greatly enhance your visibility, increase your visitation stream, and immeasurably add to your conversion rates. More and more, both privately-conducted and industry-wide surveys are underscoring this paradigm.

What We Do

At Indian Chief, we gather, develop, segment, curate, optimize, and offer destination-specific travel content that is both rich and varied. We offer concise, informative, engaging, stylish and user-friendly destination travel guides that are field researched and tested, professionally written and curated, and unique in their approach, extracting and serving up the essence and uniqueness of each destination, with insights that are a rare commodity in this age of sound-bite travel.

Our Background

We come with 25+ years of travel experience under our proverbial belt – researching, writing, producing, publishing travel – from the days of the print media, when Indian Chief established itself as a travel brand on the West Coast of the United States, focusing on California and Hawaii and redefining regional travel guides by integrating travel patterns with geography. Since then, we have come a long way, morphing into a developer of online travel guides for destinations worldwide. We understand travel guides like the backs of our hands, and can, at the drop of a hat, point travelers in the right direction to enable them to have wholesome travel experiences.

What We Can Do For You

If you're in the travel/leisure/hospitality industry, in any aspect of it, we could prove to be a worthy partner by providing you with compelling, destination-specific travel content to engage and inspire your audience into action. We can provide you with subscription-based content or unique content developed and tailored specifically to your needs. Contact us for an obligation-free consideration to explore the power of the travel guide.
