The magnificent Ziller Valley, or Zillertal, runs 30 km from the A12 Autobahn at Jenbach to Mayrhofen at its southern head. Along the way, the valley links a dozen small villages, many with their own lifts, side-valleys, and lakes. At the southernmost tip of the valley, above the hamlet of Tux, the Hintertux Glacier obliges snow-sport lovers with year-round skiing and snowboarding. It also offers some of Austria’s best off-season racing camps.
