Artist and storyteller, Bob Stayton captures the American wilderness and the magic of the west in bronze sculpture. His sculptural portrayals are of personal experiences with the people and animals depicted and each is a story cast in bronze. Of Welsh-Irish and Cherokee decent, Bob was raised on a small farm on the east front of the Rocky Mountains in Montana. His life was filled with the adventures a young boy can easily find in "Charlie Russell" country. Bob started his formal art training at the age of six, under the guidance of a private art teacher. Drawings and watercolors of the scenery, wildlife and farm animals were the subjects of his beginning years.
