You may have to stop and ask for directions to reach Da Tituta, just outside of Caorle’s historic center, but seafood lovers will agree that it is worth the effort. There isn’t much in the way of seafood that you won’t find on the menu here and you can count on it to be
excellent.
As a suggestion, begin with a misto of hot and cold seafood antipasti. For a primo, try the tagliatelle in a red lobster sauce or the seafood broeto (soup) served with polenta. Then, for a second course, request the piatto misto grigliato, a mix of fresh grilled fish served with white polenta, or try their grilled capelunghe (razor neck clams).
Don’t hesitate to order their table wine and try their sorbetto. If you plan to dine here on a Sun, arrive ahead of the crowds. Meals are so relaxed that the last lunch guests walk out the door just before the early dinner guests arrive.
