Nearby at 2 Rue du 4 Septembre, is a collection of Provençal earthenware and paintings, housed in a late 18th-century mansion. It is open to the public every day except Sunday and holidays, from 2 to 5 pm. The quarter was originally laid out along the Rue Cardinale and the Rue du 4 Septembre, where the bulk of the Baroque domestic buildings can be found. There are also several distinguished buildings along the Cours Mirabeau, which marks the northern border of the Mazarin Quartier. Among these are Hôtel de Villars number 4, Hôtel Isoard de Vauvenargues number 10, Hôtel Forbin left, at number 20, one of the largest and oldest, and Hôtel Maurel de Pontevès at number 38, the oldest house in the Mazarin Quartier.
