Rated “ultimate” by Delta, this is an exceptionally well-appointed resort: 400 luxury rooms, three pools, three restaurants, three lounges, three beaches, all with pink sand on the South Shore, six tennis courts, golf, watersports, kids programs. It’s difficult to elaborate on all that Sonesta has to offer without rambling. Suffice it to say that one never really needs to leave the property. If you like to enjoy an afternoon relaxing at the spa, you can do it here. Like to take long walks along the cliffs or beach? That, too, you can do, and without leaving the property. Do you have a large family? Sonesta will welcome you all, including the kids. Add a multi-million-dollar renovation and you have a resort that compares favorably with the best on the island. You name it, Sonesta has it all. It’s not inexpensive, but if you’re looking for something special, this is it.
