Grotto Bay is one ofmyown favorite spots on the islands. The fullservice resort is priced for the average budget and is rated preferred by Delta. All rooms have private balconies or patios and ocean view, though the more expensive rooms are actually on the water’s edge while the more moderately priced rooms are on the hill overlooking the water. I’ve stayed at Grotto Bay several times.Onmymost recent visit in 2003 I was pleasantly surprised to find that the resort, always one of my favorites, had undergone major renovations and now can easily hold its own with any of its competitors. The pastel shades of the guest units pale yellows, blues and greens I found pleasing, not to say soothing. The rooms have all been refurnished, are comfortable and relaxing. The rates offered by Delta make it even more appealing.
