At Hotel Marina, which is up a notch on the scale from the Hotel Annabella, one double with bath runs about € 42/10,500 HUF in low season to about Euro 70 in high season. Suites are wonderful, from € 92 in low season to about Euro 120 in summer high season, breakfast included. You can expect an additional charge of about Euro 4 for window views of Balaton. The cuisine and variety of dining here is a welcome addition. Although they only serve buffet for breakfast, the dinners are excellent; there is also the hotel coffee shop and the bar and terrace on the roof.
The Beach Pálmakert Bar and nightclub hosts good entertainment and rocks until 2 am. Kids are welcome. There is a babysitter, a children’s room with special programs to keep them occupied, as well as a playground. There is also a beauty salon and a private beach on the shore, where you can rent pedal boats, rowing craft, and sail boats, or try the swimming pool, sauna and massage. Table tennis, badminton and billiards are available and a complete set of tours and activities can be booked from the front desk.
