Holocaust Memorial
After years of quibbling over the site and design of the Holocaust Memorial, corner of Behren and Ebertstraße, building finally began on a site south of the Brandenburg Gate. The memorial will consist of huge concrete slabs – some as high as five meters/15 feet – placed in close proximity to each other so walking solo will be the only way through.
