You wouldn’t think that you’d find one of the island’s best loved restaurants so far out on the North Side, but Red Ginger is definitely a favorite with locals in the know. With its long line of cars parked along the road, you’ll know that reservations are a must. The casual restaurant has a view of the waves but the menu offers plenty of distraction: grilled beef tenderloin, poached Chilean salmon, jerked lamb ghops, pan-fried turtle medallions, potato gnocchi, baked eggplant gâteau, and more. Takeout is available, and you’ll find a children’s menu as well.
